Each fitness test panel provides a deep dive into an individual’s health to paint a comprehensive picture of overall fitness, including comprehensive tests that measure stamina, nutrition, energy, hydration and hormone levels. It also informs about the state of the muscles and the recovery. This advanced physical performance test allows individuals to establish their fitness level and find their competitive edge.

Fitness enthusiasts can choose from three distinct test profiles based on their own intensity and fitness goals. Each includes a health risk assessment, health quotient score, associated risk factors, biometric data, and one-on-one discussion with a doctor when reviewing the results.
- The Essentials profile checks the fundamentals for improving fitness, mitigating risk, and assessing how the body responds to the fitness routine, including markers of general health (systems that support exercise training tolerance – liver function , measurement of immune cells), energy substrates that provide fuel in exercise metabolic processes, macro and micronutrients, hydration and electrolytes, endurance and recovery.
- The nutritional profile assesses adequate nutrition and identifies nutrient deficiencies. It assesses levels of macronutrients and micronutrients that serve as coenzymes in metabolic function, omega fatty acids, and indicators of hydration.
- The elite profile targets top athletes who train at high volumes and aims to optimize performance, endurance, training, recovery and nutrition. This profile assesses red blood cells and nutrients that support red blood cell replenishment. It offers performance insights for susceptibility to overtraining or reduced training which can lead to higher levels of performance. Finally, athletes will gain insight into the anabolic and catabolic balance in the body involved in recovery and adaptations. To hone the Elite Profile, Quest leveraged a longstanding relationship with the New York Football Giants to improve the health and performance of the most elite athletes.
Chris Fleming44, was among the first to try the Fitness Profile – Elite test as he prepared for the New York City Marathon, which takes place on sunday november 6e. Facing several training challenges for his first marathon, Fleming was most interested in testing to understand how his body reacted to training and proactively arming himself with tips to improve his performance and avoid injuries in the last straight before the race. “The Elite Fitness profile gave me incredible insight into tangible ways to improve my performance and gave me physical and mental relief that I was training the right way,” Fleming said.
These panels can be purchased from questhealth.com, priced at $269 at $559. They may be redeemable through Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
